A modified version of Emerson, Lake & Palmer's Tarkus album (original work by William Neal). This was made for a record studio. I took the idea further and more suitable for musical environment, by adding the amplifier in it. (Acrylic paints).

Great rendition of it, I like the little amp ;D

This is my favorite album by them, hands down!

Tusen tack. :D
I really can't decide which album do I like the best (between Trilogy, Tarkus and Brain Salad Surgery), but I love this ones album art - such an original idea!

Actually, I don't care much for Trilogy. If I had to choose, I prefer their debut ("Just take a pebble" is amazing!) and come to think of it, Pictures at an exhibition is a great record too.

The thing that really disturbs me about brain salad... here it comes and it's silly... is the damn computer generated voice at the end of side B. It feels so dated it's embarrassing! :P

Thanks, I appreciate it!
Had to peek at the original cover every now and then, when painting this. ;)

Wow, gorgeous work. :}
I absolutely adore that song, I play it on the bus to school every day.

And I remember when I first got a hold of a CD with that song. I got a random untitled CD from my brother, and it turned out to be ELP music.

*headbangs to the last eight minutes of the song*

I love Tarkus.. One of ELP's best, in my opinion ^^

Thanks for the compliment! :)
I agree, Tarkus is one of their best. Then again, Trilogy and Brainsalad Surgery are good ones as well.

You're most welcome ^^
And yes, definetely. =)
I'm quite fond of what they did to Mussorgskys ';Pictures at an Exhibition' as well, and of course... ah heck, they're just an awesome band :XD:
